Japanese Culture

Hi, I'm Megan Flannery. I teach English at Ueno Gakuen. I'm from New Zealand. Last Friday, I went to the Tea Ceremony Club. It was really interesting to see the tatami room at school! I ate wagashi and made my own matcha. It was so delicious. I enjoyed seeing how special tea can be. The Tea Ceremony has so many steps. You need to remember all the different techniques. I was very impressed! It was interesting to learn about everything you need for the ceremony. It was all so beautiful. The history and traditions of the tea ceremony is really intriguing too. I liked seeing traditional Japanese culture at school. It's really cool that there is a school club for it.
