7/24日(水)～26日(金) 中３English Camp

中学校３年生を対象に、7月24日(水)～26日(金)までEnglish Campを実施しました。

本校の外国人講師であるロッコ先生も参加し、以下はその感想です。

　Hi, everyone. I am Evan Rocco. I am an English teacher at Ueno Gakuen.

　Last week the third-year middle school students participated in a Summer English Camp. The camp consisted of three days of games, speaking practice, and research all done in English! A group of English teachers from all over the world were there to help the students and teach them about their home countries.

On the first day the students were very shy, and I was a little bit worried that they might not be having fun. Slowly but surely they warmed up to the new teachers and by the end we were all laughing and joking around.

The final event was a group presentation where the students had to pick something about Japan that they wanted to share with the world. The subjects ranged from traditional Japanese food, the Shinkansen, and even Japanese Yokai! We were all very impressed with how hard everyone worked and much comradery they showed.

I am really going to miss all of the students over the summer vacation, so I was so glad that I got to spend a couple extra days with them. It was a really memorable experience and I hope next year's English Camp is even more fun!
